ABOUT THE KYBA PROJECT

Founded by Keven Rayne in  2020, the KYBA Project (Keep Your Boat Afloat) is working towards becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Boat theft, along with related theft of marine electronics, fishing gear and motors has become an epidemic here in the US and around the world. Although similar websites are already out there, none directly catered to the boating community like the KYBA project. As we grow, we believe the KYBA Project will become a valuable tool for owners and law enforcement to curtail boat theft.

The KYBA Project was made possible because of Andrew Corbin with Codebuilders and the team at BikeIndex.org. BikeIndex.org provided the concept and Andrew successfully built the code to fit the needs of the boat community and launch the website.

We hope that the KYBA Project will morph into a database used and searched by individuals, boat dealers, shops, police departments and other apps. A boat registry that gives everyone the ability to register and recover boats.

Simple. Efficient. Effective.

Boat registration that works.
