How It Works
REGISTER YOUR BOAT
It’s simple. Register your boat, boat motor, electronics, fishing gear or pretty much anything, especially if it has a serial number. This anonymous information is kept private and secure and can be done in seconds.
ALERT THE COMMUNITY
If your boat is stolen, mark it stolen in KYBA which notifies the entire KYBA community and partners. Your boat will now show up in user searches either via keyword, serial number or just by browsing. You will also have the option to add a reward.
THE COMMUNITY RESPONDS
A user or partner encounters your boat, uses the KYBA Project to identify it and contacts you or law enforcement.

Ahead of the curve
The KYBA Project not only attempts to recover thefts but also prevent thefts by registering items ahead of time. If thieves are unable to sell to pawn shops or on marketplaces because they know buyers are able to check the serial numbers they have less incentive to steal in the first place.
